Gerunds หรือ Verbal Nouns
มีคำกริยา 2 ประเภทที่ลงท้ายด้วย ing ประเภทแรกเรียกว่า present participle คือคำที่ใช้กับกริยาช่วย (auxiliary verb) เพื่อทำให้ประโยคนั้นๆเป็นรูป continuous tense เช่น
We are making good progress.
Susan was dancing in the moonlight.
I shall be seeing George tomorrow.
